The amazing miracle of birth…

IMG_6199Back in 2009 I photographed Tara & Jordan’s wedding.  It was awesome of course, but to make a long story short, fast forward to now, Tara has become much more than a client, she has become an assitant photographer for me and more importantly, a friend.  It it such an amazing honor to be asked to document such important events in peoples lives.  Events like weddings are so much fun.  I would say getting married is probably one of the highlights of a person’s life, and being trusted to document that one time event is truly an honor.  There is another event that is just as amazing…that is the birth of your child.  I was so thrilled when Tara announced that she and Jordan were expecting, and honored that she asked me to document the event for them.  Seeing the way Jordan was so supportive to Tara through the birth, and Tara and Jordan both being so respectful to one another through an event that could for some people create tension was very beautiful and inspiring.  I always say “I’m not a writer, I don’t do words, I do pictures”.  That being said, I will stop trying to put into words what can more easily be shown in images, how amazing the birth of Little Miss Iceberg (they called her Iceberg until she was born).

  • Lindsey - You will cherish these photos forever! Times will get hard having a new baby in your life and your marriage will never be the same, mostly in good ways. But when it gets really hard and it seems easier to give up, you don’t need to say anything to each other, just watch this slideshow to be reminded of your undying love for each other and that you can get through anything. Congratulations!ReplyCancel

    • Tara - Thanks Lindsey!!! :)
